Another question from a newbie (there will probably be a few more!) I like the look of the Powerbronze Powerblade adjustable screen for touring on my 2020 GT. Does anyone have one and can provide an opinion? Or is there anything better on the market? I am 6' tall. Cheers.

I have the Powerbronze screen and it has held up well. The rubber grommets did go bad after a couple of years but Powerbronze replaced them at no charge. The worst part of the screen, in my opinion is that it is hard to clean. Lots of cracks and crevices. It flexes around a bit at high speed but had it to 140 mph with no problem.

On mine it flexes at high speed like yours and I think, "At this speed the windshield is flexed down pointing at my neck. if it lets go it won't be an open casket." I still have my original Powerbronze mid-size for 2 years and I'm okay with it. It works well/decent/not bad/okay for it's size and it doesn't take away from the aesthetics of the GT. Cheers.

Had mine on since 2020 and with 59,000 miles it is still holding up.

I too have the Powerbronze Powerblade. It comes with two different heights of the top shield. I tried the short one and it didn't provide much wind protection at all. The taller one is better but still lot of wind about nose up on me at 6'2 . The supplied hardware is junk and prone to loosening up without over tightening. I got some black fasteners with the nylock inserts to stop that. Also after a while the nylon spacers between the bottom shield and cowl start crushing from the forces applied. They sit at a slight angle to the cowl and windshield so the edges of the spacers bear the load distorting them over time. I'll replace those with larger diameter spacers the next time I have it off.

Well, I had to take my Powerbronze Powerblade off due to the nylon spacers failing. The top ones take a lot of force at speed. It has about 6 months time on it.

I had a chance to look under the cowl and all was clean and dry. Very happy with the new seal I installed seam up.

Back to the stock flipper until I come up with a fix. Brass, maybe aluminum...
