I'm sorry to just learn this sad news @1olbull , but encouraged to see him with such a positive attitude in that photo. I have a feeling you guys come from strong stock and that he'll come out of this swinging. Thinking of you guys.

I don't know how I missed this Steve ! I've always enjoyed Dan's company. He is one of those positive, love for life people you just want to be around ! Nothing but the best wishes for him on a complete recovery !

While out on my extended RAA West 2019 ride, I received word my brother, Dan, had another heart attack while up in AK helping his son move. His first was in Montrose on a ride last June.
Some of you know Dan as he has accomoanied me on many rides.
He's stable and alert now awaiting by-pass surgery Friday.

So sorry. Hope the facilities are as good as Montrose seemed to be. Tell him to behave himself this time

His first one was the night we spent at your plsce on way to Montrose. Treatment was great there, but Dan is one of the few that thrombosed his two stents.
Now he's away from home again,in Anchorage, AK.
