It’s funny that this thread has started...due to the lack of availability of the riders backrest, I’m currently in the stages of building my own.
I have sourced a backrest and am waiting for the base part to come back from machining....
If it all works, I’ll post pics and links. So far it’s cost me AU$130 for the parts...machining will probably be AU$60. Couple of bolts is all I still need to buy.
