Back Rest repairs?

Brahma's back rest is in need of repair. The original tear when I got it has grown and I see a new tear appearing now. Any suggestions on how to repair these?

any car upholstery shop if given the pad should be able to remake that pad exactly if given the old pad before it gets totally beat up.

I had an RV guy redo mine awhile ago. Can't even tell it has been redone.
