After six weeks with no riding, I'm back in town and heading off on the Rocket on Sunday up to Canberra (3.5 hours) then after a few days back via Bombala. Anybody who lives down here will know how good it is to get on these roads after a long winter! Let me at it! Six weeks stuck on airplanes and in cars makes you crave the Rocket, I can promise you. Now I just have to sell my Harley so I can afford to keep the Rocket!
 
Just ride safe with all the crap weather down your way. Bloody Queensland, whilst not freezing way to cold for this time of year, temperature back down to 24 not good at all.

It snowed overnight and was lying around today! In October!!!!
 
Cold

Cold up here today had yo ride to work with a long sleeved shirt on .might have to wear a jacket tomorrow cheers Peter

The storms last night have closed the Brown and the Clyde for about six weeks with landslides, and the highway is washed out and impassable in five places.

You'll have to stay home and be miserable.

Storm

Ruzzle. It must have been one hell of a storm .i used truck freight down the Clyde mountain to batemans bay then down to Eden then back up the brown mountain and stop at the pub at nimittibell . They were the days Ruzzle a steak meal and a beer for $2 mate that was only 35. Years ago.lovely part of the country you live in. Cheers peter
