Back Ache

Thank you I'm 5:11 and have Triumph board level with the foot rail I will look for a seat builder I bought a new Triumph gel seat that was expensive so don't want to chop it about maybe sell it and look for a new type of seat

Corbin

Corbin seats fixed bad factory seat problem on two of my bikes,. K1200 and a Sprint, but the factory dual long haul on my Touring is really good, I could never justify trying something else. Another bonus is that new knockoff backrests to fit Corbin's are $55 all over the internet.

Will see what I can find used can't justify the money for a new one just wasted money on a new triumph gel seat

Love mine, stopped the pain of the stock seat first ride for me
Very expensive in the UK can't justify the price of these at the moment just wasted money on a triumph gel seat

M.J that triumph gel is a hot item on forum I think you did ok with that purchase if you have to get another seat.

Understand the expense on the Corbins, etc. I've been putting it off for the same reason, but after 5 spinal surgeries, made some cheap mods. Put a gel pad over the crappy std seat, and then a bead seat. Good for a massage even if you don't go to the SF nightclubs. Also helps drainage in the rain. Best thing I did was put in a backrest. Never had one of these in all my years and kicking myself for not doing it sooner. Touring feels like a lounge chair now. I probably will get an upgrade seat at some point, but meantime doing all the good things the captains have been suggesting, moving, stretching, and letting the youngins lift the heavy stuff. Hang in there!
