Avon Cobra Review

So how many hours later did the Harley guy meet back up with you guys? 23" on a Harley= horrible bad!!
He arrived at point B a bit later than me. I was with a friend last night that is building a bagger with a 30 inch front. Its all about the looks at that point. I rode his 2013 Street Glide with a 26 inch front and I will say it is an awful feeling out front. Its feels like a rudder on the bow of a small boat, fighting it to stay straight, and the low profile tire transfers the small bumps right through your wrists and straight to your eyeballs.

It's a whole thing now, there are magazines specifically catering to that subculture.

I suspect mostly it's custom builders looking for ways to stand out in shows so they can sell their aftermarket bits, and then it snowballed from there.

In the "Biker Battleground Phoenix" series you had Paul Yaffe trying to invent a new wide wheel front bagger style, because the big tricycle look has been so overdone... it's all about trying to create a new look that gets popular.

Certainly there are no benefits from having a larger wheel beyond a certain point (a 21 inch on an offroader makes perfect sense, but 30 inches on anything is just ludicrous).
