Attention Grabber

I see what you'er saying. but if an individual on what ever Bike want's to disrespect my bike and attempts to Kick Sand in my face,,,well I will BURY the Sucker. Just saying.

I ride for the way it makes me feel and don't give a toss if it makes others happy or sad. Like @FunkSoulBro I get a kick out having others admire the bike but not as much as I get from riding it. And who doesn't like the idea of young ladies lying all over it (even if it costs $10 a pop - just kidding @slick rick ).
I don't feel superior because I ride a Rocket and don't feel the need to put anyone else down because of what they ride. But if that is your thing then by all means go and kick some sand in some weakling's face. Just don't expect everyone to be impressed by it.

I agree. I know I have an instinct to race, I suppose many of us do, but racing usually involved closely matched bikes. I don't race because I suck at it and will only end up wrecking my bike and myself.
Back to the beginning of the thread, I like to see people looking at my bike with their mouth hanging open. I too had an old-timer come up to me and talk about his bike from the 1950's and how it was the fastest bike from here to the NSW north coast, he talked about his exhaust and timing/tuning tricks etc.. he asked about my bike and I told him it was 2300cc, he looked a bit confused (yeah, he was pretty old!) but it was more a look of "wow, did he say 1,300 cc!"..

It never fails to see a group of people standing around looking at my R3. Interestingly most mount up on HD's afterward. It is a good feeling especially when they blurp numerous times as they are rolling out as I sit confidently but silently aware that the nice exhaust notes do not equal the muscle performance of the R3.

But that exhaust note is what I miss most from riding my Harley, the same reason I always have had V8 cars ,the Rocket does have a distinctive exhaust note ,but when I fired up the old Shovel I turned into Geronimo something about that rumpity bump idle that is so sweet, slow as a wet week but a great sound almost as nice as a V8 Mack Diesel under load

So I am in my Chevelle today coming back from Hyannis to Sandwich on RT132. I am at a light and a guy some where around late twenties early 30s in a beautiful blue Subaru WRX pulls up on my left. This car was super nice. Of course I have no AC and my window is down so I can hear the sound of a performance exhaust. I look over and smile, give him a thumbs up (like nice car dude). He looks at me and starts to let me hear the sound of his car while he is on the brake and the car is doing the trans brake bump like I am at the staging lanes. I start to think, I am going to dust this kid. And then I start to to think about what those two ass bags on this forum (cramberraupmybuttR3 and lostrideiam adick) had to say about my Honda Fury post. I think I know why they dont understand why some guys have a laugh at guys like this guy in the WRX. Because they more than likely have been butt ****ed to death by liberal vegetarian tree huggin ass wipes that drive a Toyota Prius. I watch the WRX hit the go button as the light turns green and I drop the clutch, hit 2nd watch the the WRX move over to the right (my lane) bang 3rd and go by him. This would be the very same example I shared about the smug douche bag on the Honda Fury several posts ago, except this time I was on 4 wheels. I had some smug little prick give me the **** You old guy thing and I had to put him in his place. So with this, I would like to say to cranberryballsR3 and I lostmyride, I completely understand why you don't understand and are so condescending. You are douche bags! you are panty boys, SO GO **** YOUR SELVES! Anyone that is in the USA and wants to go hunting or fishing, I am in!

Sorry @Rick Morris but that was a completely unnecessary and inflammatory post. Everyone else let it go, but you drag it back up and call people names. I just don't understand? It only goes to point out the difference Richard saw in the first two posts of this thread. Funk soul had a tasteful write-up being proud of his bike and you had a juvenile reaction when showing/writing about pride in yours.
Race who you want. Be proud of your bike and your car. We ALL do exactly the same! But we don't all need to insult and call names.

I appreciate your input.
