Rocket X - #475.
Hi All,
Happy New Year. I have a question regarding my 2015 Rocket X (#475) and what a respectable sell price would be for in 2025, seeing that the bike is in very good condition with only 15,000 km on the clock, being that these are rarer than chickens' teeth to source. Since they do not appear on the market every day I am unsure as to a possible price whether that's 24K to 35K ???? Is it a matter of listing the bike and seeing who is interested ??

Thanks.

A bike is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it so it’s always difficult to know what to ask, especially for something that is rare.

2015 Roadsters tend to sell $14k-$17k but I do agree with you that the X is special and there will be some potential buyers who missed out and others who just want one. They should be prepared to pay a premium. That said, I do feel your expectations are little high but if you’re not in a hurry you may as well go for a lot and see what happens.

For what it’s worth, if it was me (or the Triumph Dealer where I still occasionally work) $20k would seem more realistic, maybe $25k on real good day with a tail wind. But you never know, someone just might be prepared to part with more and not be put off if you did start at $35k, but you do risk alienating potential buyers.

Hi there CanberraR3,
Thanks for the comments - worth considering. We used to live near you - Goulburn, nothin' like a day out in Canberra for an outing. PS. placed an order for the R3 Evel Knievel, just need to find a place to park it - maybe office decoration.
