It did run and sounded good but wasn’t very fast. The 65 Impala was the quickest car on the day. I have some video of it but can’t get it to load.
 
A good mate and brilliant photographer passed away back in December last year. The Northern New South Wales hot rod community put on a Memorial Day for him on the 11th of July. They couldn’t run their normal Back to Brunswick weekend because of COVID restrictions so they had a small invitation day at Brunswick Bowls Club. Luckily the border was open for a few weeks mid year and Julie and I were able to attend to pay our respects and take some photos.
