Anyone tried to fit slip on pipes besides what is sold specifically for the Rocket3?

I would like to get rid of the stock exhaust, but not wanting to pay $1k+ for just a slip on and some pipes are $2k-$3k which is bananas. Looks like other pipes might fit, just wanted to see if anyone has tried any brands/pipes not specifically listed as fitting a Rocket 3? thanks

not gonna fit precisely on stock headers unless you start cutting the stock headers end and make your own joints / transition. Needs quite a bit of fabrication

I was wondering the same thing. I'd like to get rid of the insanely heavy stock pipes. Not a big fan of the Werk's as I do not like the look.

To date the best looking slip ons I have seen are the Zards ! They just flow along with the lines of the rocket. Would be great if they were say 2-3 inches shorter to fully expose rear tire.
And as I understand it the sound is awesome.

Just cannot fathom the 2.5k cost for stainless. Maybe because they are made in Italy?

I have the WERKES slip on. Good quality with removable sound baffles.

Not sure why you would need to cut anything, I've see the available slip ons and there is nothing special to connect it, just has to be clamped on the stock header.

I'd save quite a bit if I went Werks. Curious, are they insanely loud without baffles? Like the looks of the Zard but $1,000 saved is not something to laugh at. How does Werks handle the left side of bike? Is there just a big empty space? Look O.K. or a bit "off"?

Big hole on the left with the Werkes. Zard at least make a carbon piece to fill the hole, but it mounts to the exhaust so you can't just buy that and fit it to other single sided exhausts...

I've seen many people say they don't like the looks of the left side with the Werkes... I actually really like it as it really makes the massive single sided swing arm stand out. And yes, it is crazy loud without baffles. I've had my bike described as "obscene". I love it!
