The new seat for the '06 will fit the '05? I really liked the feel of the new seat. Do they have it (the '06 seat) in gel?

Also, is there anyone that has the '06 and dosn't like the seat and would like to swap for the '05 seat?

Thanks,
Tom

Tom, I have an '05 and got a Low Seat which is made for the '06 and it fits perfectly. I can't imagine there are any changes at all between the two years.

TMiller, if you got the latest Torque issue, see page 29.
They announced a new sissy bar and seat for the Rocket.

The "Dual Touring Seat" looks a lot like the seat on the Rocket Classic, so I wouldn't be surprised if it is the same thing.

Sorry, no pics. It's not listed on the Triumph site yet, but the part number is A9708059

To my surprise, the Classic seat has a different removal procedure than the standard Rocket. In addition to inserting and turning the key on the right side, one must also pull on a ring on the left side of the bike. The plastic ring is between the seat and the rear fender and is rather difficult to get a hold of. I made it easy by attaching a black tie-wrap so that I can pull easily.

has anyone seen the seats side by side?

My wife really wants a wider seat for the back, and I know I can get a special seat made but then I have to mail in my seat.

Like the looks of the corbin dual tour, But I also like the Classic/ touring seat in the tourque magizine, just wondering if its wider than the stock pillion seat.

So your saying its wider in the back then stock? If so I'm gonna have to order one.

Your just south of Atanta? ever get over towards Augusta?

Local dealer doesn't hae a classic in stock
