Having far is too far when it comes to miles on a bike in one day? I don't do much(any) long distance riding. Years ago I went on a 250 mile run on 750 Shadow, but i was younger then. I have been watching this thread... I'm about 350 miles from Leakey.

If it was closer I'd ride down to say hello and ride back.

It's 400 miles from me in Tyler, I'm riding it

as time gets closer let me in on the final approach could always stop in for the night/dinner and head out in morning?my guess is 13 hours away from my house?has anyone made definite reservations yet?

After looking through all of them, I think if enough peeps went in together, one of these would be more economical & much better facilities outside (fire ring & smoker!) and they back up to the river:

Figured we'd group ride the sisters (not a gang bang) on Friday like we did last year, to avoid large weekend traffic - then one of the other routes on Saturday (like the one you suggested to Bandera area)
