My current favorite is San Francisco.
If you sell a house in SF that has renters you will need to pay the difference their current subsided rent and the current market rent for two years. Only in the golden state.

Its true. A friend lives in SF and has heard estimates of as much as $50k that it will cost between the attorney's fees and the tenant payout to get them out. I'm not sure who actually foots the bill, either the sell or buyers. Bottom line it wil be added on to the cost of the house.
