Looks pretty good down the right side. Not so much up the left. Are they 1.75" primaries?

It is about 1,55" inner diameter.

I'm wondering if that section, where the old box was, is a resonation chamber. Does Euro emissions standards require a Cat?

It is certainly interesting exhaust, I'd like to see where the front controls will be placed also

Yup - Euro3 applies to the R3. and Euro4 requires even more - like the California EVAP box.
