Hi Everyone,

Today I was pleased to take delivery of this:

It may be a while before I can ride it, because the view out the window looks like this:

I've been lurking on the forum for a while, thoroughly enjoying learning about the Rocket. I bought mine on CycleTrader from a dealer in California. It's a 2014 with only 226 miles on the odometer. I've ridden it about 100 yards, from where the trucker unloaded it on the street between the snowbanks, up my driveway and into the garage. For the next couple of months I'll have to be content with sitting on it in the garage and making 'vroom-vroom' noises.

I was born in Wales, grew up in England, moved to Canada, now live in Utah. I own two other Triumphs (1998 TBS, 2012 Tiger 800 Roadie). The R3R is my 'life's too short to not try it' experiment for the next couple of years. My first street-legal bike in 1970s England was a Yamaha FS1E moped, which had 1/46th the displacement of the Rocket :)

Despite the username, I'm not actually called Bob. I just like the phrase.
check out the RAA coming up this summer from provo should be a easy ride for you

Hey Uncle Bob, welcome from sunny Southern California! You clearly have great taste and couldn't have picked a more perfect year, color, or model!

Another not-so-warm welcome to the site from New Jersey (10 degrees F as I type this), BYU.

What brought you to Provo and why are you using an alias???o_O

Enjoy the ride as the weather permits!
