I'm putting a Scorpio i900 on my '09 Classic tomorrow and was wondering if anyone knows if there's a way to use the stock alarm light in the gauge with an after market alarm?

Also, anybody have anything to add to this (fantastic!) post that a not-too-tech-savvy could benefit from?

Thanks!

So the tutorial ends just before he gets to the ignition disable / anti-hijacking install. :? Does anyone have a wiring diagram or pics so I know what wires I need to cut in to?

So I've tried going through the wiring diagrams in the owner's manual and Datatool manual and have come to the conclusion that I can't read wiring diagrams.

Does anyone have an install of the ignition disable with pictures? (Just pretend you're helping out a dumb person)

Anyone have a pic so that I can identify the wires I need to isolate? I'd rather not have to go pay the dealer, but I'll do that before guessing.

Thanks

My dealer offered to do it for .8 of an hour. Too cheap not to have him do it.

Disconnected mine a longtime back, bloody pain in the arse... isn't going to stop a pro from taking it, joy riders are far to frightened by the size....

I was thinking the same thing.
Maybe a high quality chain and lock would be more effective.
