Only problem I have IS that the original mounting point/bracket has been removed when the indicators were transferred to the handlebars. Think I will have to purchase those small 2" brackets and mount from the fly screen brackets.

Yep..they come in black or chrome..quite good tho and only a couple of bucks. I used heat shrink on the wires and load resistors for the correct flash speed or you can change the relay..

Been looking at the same but was curious as to how it would look using the two holed brackets. Thanks for the pics. Mittzy I like your set up on the front a lot. All very good ideas and thanks.

I have spent a lot of time searching the net with no luck on fork relocation brackets for turn signals that fit the Rocket. Very disappointed in what is offered. I guess only Harley riders matter. Working on a making brackets that replaces the stock turn signal brackets. Hate after thought projects and do not plan on it looking like one. Don't like the idea of fork mount anyhow. You would think that a bike that has been in production for over ten years somebody would have picked up this already. Have a lot of resources and when the time comes will post the results. Since the Bike is a Rocket X having chrome turn signals really looks stupid. Who would have thought turn signals would be such a 7itch .

Gday Sonny

I have just seen this thread, have you considered using after market turn signals (indicators) that are in the mirrors see my pic, bought mine from a supplier in the States for my FXR Lowrider on most recent rebuild the LED'S can either all come on at once and flash or they can come on individually in succession to create a flashing effect, easy to mount and easy to connect to existing wiring, well it was for the harley anyway.

Have a look thru jp cycles Web page. ..they have a good selection...

I agree, buy all my Aftermarket parts for my Harley from them just did a post to Sonny about the indicators in the mirrors got them from J&P great prices great service and no problem with any of the parts have bought from them, they do have the Rocket listed in their bike list, and they do have a few parts but unfortunatelly not many but Im still a J&P fan.

Still waiting on turn signals from Arlen Ness. Everything else showed up. Came up with a game plan. IMG_0401.JPG Fabricated aluminum tab to be fitted and welded to new turn signal. May have to reshape the original mounting bracket to allow good fit up where the turn signal mounts. The lights are made out of aluminum and are thick enough to get a good bead. Plan on sand blasting bracket and paint black. Two black brackets are for the rear signals. Have the extreme licence plate holder and the new turn signals have short stems so brackets are required to get proper location of lights. Will post pics as we progress with this little project. Should look very clean when completed.
