Scientist; There appears to be an extra shield over the headers chrome shields on your bike. What material did you use?

Kevlar/Nomex honeycomb composite (a mate in the aircraft industry sent me a box of offcuts ages ago) - Edges scarfed and epoxy filled. Heat resistant paint over special primer. Some closeups here Mods'n'stuff

I use a set of Jardine headers with the "rare" THUGS. I say rare as iirc there were only 6 sets made.

What's the "rare" THUGS? My Jardine headers 'look' the same as yours?

The jardine headers are modified - They have the predator CNC port plate.
The THUGS are the bit connected to them.

Like the sound and everyone seems to say 'look great'...really?
I cannot agree, they just ( to me) look just what they are - bolt on exhaust. I don't think they suit the bike at all?

I had the Jardines on my 07, looked good and very powerful sound, really too loud for me.

D&D's on my 08. Nice addition, didn't need ear plugs to ride.

I think I'm going with TOR’s on my Roadster, around $550.00 US.

TORS will not give you the power of the CARPENTER exhaust and the CARP pipe weighs 38 lbs less and they now have muffler inserts to quiet the great sounding exhaust roar if you like
