I not sure of how the tors is done is that the factory muffler modified if it is how do u do it n does it require a different tune if u do it with no other modifications thanks guys
The Tors are a slip on exhaust pipe..Your dealer has the tune for the Tors..a 5 minute adjustment and they should do it for free when they install your pipes..My Jardines were continually too loud for me so I had a custom Exhaust shop build me an exhaust Auger. They mounted it inside a sleeve that slips in my exhaust pipes so removal is a 5 minute job.It was a monstrous job removing the old baffles from jardine. They are wrapped 12" of the 15" baffle..the augers allow me to ride sans earplugs and still has a nice rumble and rack when accelerating.Beware of the loud noise on stock jardines!
I bought a R3 trg a few months ago and have the same concern. Does anyone know if it's possible to "open up" the stock mufflers and/or the catalytic converter (US bike)?
Has anyone heard the Triumph accessory mufflers for this bike?
Never been on a forum before so tell me if my actions on here cut in on anyone.
Thanks for any info.
I also ride a 2011 R3T. Ended up with the TOR and the off road tune. I'm happy with it. The difference is subtle... Just a little deeper sound, not really louder (at least it isn't any louder from the seat. No idea what it sounds like as I drive by).

Below is a graph of an R3T that I mapped a few years back.
All stock, except that the owner used a LONG 1 inch drill bit to put a hole through the stock muffler baffles and cats. The results are very similar to those with TORS (Triumph Off Road Silencers).
Blue - as delivered running 87 octane. Stock speed and rev limits, stock secondaries in place. Green - mapped for 87 octane. Red - running 93 octane, but mapped for 87.
Notice how the R3T comes alive when you give the engine what it wants.
DONT DO ANYTHING TO YOUR BIKE , BECAUSE ONCE YOU START YOU CARNT STOP. THE VOICES TELL YOU IT NEEDS THIS THEN THAT AND NEXT THING YOU KNOW YOUR ROCKET 3 TOURER HAS TORS FITTED THEN GIPRO THEN SECONDARYS OUT THEN TRIPLE K AND N FILTERS THEN PCV THEN AUTO TUNE . NOW THERE TELLING ME I NEED A SILVER RING , WHEN WILL THEY STOP WHEN WILL IT BE OVER? BUT ONE THING I DO KNOW THE TORS SOUND LOTS BETTER WHEN YOU HAVE ALL THEM LOVELY THING ON YOUR RIDE.

I read this several times, Hooky, but don't understand what you're saying. If the voices are bothering you maybe your exhaust isn't loud enough. You also need a belt buckle, by the way.
