About to hop aboard the Riii

Well the zx14 and the zx7r are for sure staying. I'm plenty comfortable on them. The zx10r is the one I'm considering giving up. It's 3 years old and I've done less than 2000 miles on it. It's a nasty machine, has all the power and performance one could ask for, but there ergonomics just are not there. It's a bike that wants to be ridden hard all the time and that's just not me.

Well, $hit!
I didn't realize you had a dam stable of them!
No more sympathy from me, Bucko!:p

Over time you just sort of accumulate stuff.... like vehicles. :) It's funny tho because up until a couple of months ago, for about 6 or so years, I didn't even own a coffee table! I still don't own a dresser for clothes.

Welcome Mate, from one of the Aussies.
If you haven't test ridden one - I suggest you do so.
Torque - For sure - The look on peoples face when you leave them for dead at the lights is awesome.

You won't regret it. I've wanted one since 05. Finally was able to go and get one last year. I'm still getting comfortable on it, I've pushed a few curves but still have some puckering going on on a few of them. My mind tells me oh **** and the bike says more more...lol. as far as mods. Get the teardrop mirrors for visibility, an airram air filter or triple k&ns. And whichever exhaust suits your needs and a little tune with tune ecu or tune boy and the kracken will be unleashed.

Well, a guy needs to keep his priorities straight! You seem to be spot on.

Wellllllll, I've been in and out of the triumph store a hand full of times in the last couple weeks... and filled out some of the preliminary papers. They've offered me X amount on my one bike as a trade in. We will set up a test ride next week.. I'll know Monday :)
I've just got to call the insurance company and see how the insurance will vary from what I've got now.

Welcome to the group. You will absolutely fall in love with the Rocket. From some of the BakerxDerek 0-100 challenges ive seen (kinda old now) the Rocket that Evo is riding performed the same as 6r if not a second faster. Also have to remember the bulk of the Rocket vs sport bike, and with that kind of take off.. your guaranteed to be grinning after you take off from the first light you come to.

Looks awesome! And a good choice in shoes I must say (I used to skate adio shoes years ago). The gears seem so smooth in the videos. I'm used to the clunky yet trusty gears in my zx14.
As for the bulk, my 14 is closer to 600 lbs, I don't think it will be much an issue.
