A Sheep In Wolf's Clothing or Vice Versa?

Which...is right in line with what my Triumph dealer sells Triumph shirts for. And is the reason I've never bought one from them.

Check out a Honda F6B...has all the things you are looking for with a six cylinder 1832cc power plant. Torque and HP are not that far off from a stock R3T. I am considering one for long trips and keep my R3R for local and say up to 350-400 mile trips.

I put cruise on mine and it already has footboards even for the passenger. The stock bags are fine, add a tour pac if you need more. I don't need heated grips. I rode mine 2250 miles about 4 weeks ago. Its PERFECT in my book for cruising but I did add a cruise control and a little different windshield. I have the long haul touring seat with the backrest. I have a Harley and a Boss Hoss as other touring bikes but the RT3 is my choice as the best for long rides. just my opinion and its worth what you paid for it.

I must be getting old as well... kicking idea around in my head ... what bike would come after my Roadster? Thinking Roadmaster would be perfect. My fellow riding buddies that have R3s are like Naahhhh! I'm not going to say any names.

Indians are expensive compared to other makes and models. Kind of like Harley... service work, routine maintenance, and merchandise are expensive.

It wouldn't be yard to find another make and model bike with all the luxuries as the Roadmaster, better performance, better handling and still have a wad of cash in your pocket.

(I recently posted just about the same post word for word not long ago... you might be experiencing deja vu.)

I've read that the Honda F6B was a total flop. Honda didn't sell nearly what they expected. You can pick one up real cheap now ... the dealerships are flooded with them... going by what I've read.

The bike has no cruise control! What?
F6Bs not selling?

@mully95...Please allow me clarify as I have been seriously looking. There are two models, a Standard and the Deluxe. You buy a Deluxe which brings factory cruise, self cancelling turn signals, heated grips and a center stand. They are a flop from the standpoint that Honda did not sell a lot. Our Rockets would be in that same category. Would you consider our bikes a flop? I don't. Yes you can get them highly discounted at certain times just like our Rockets. They are a really nice touring bike with the same engine as a GoldWing (which run forever) sans the GoldWing ugliness (IMHO) and old man stigma. And like our Rockets I think the F6B gives you a real bang for the buck.

My riding buddy has a Red Honda FB6 and he loves it ,it is amost silent and super comfortable big luggage space and fantastic rider wind protection and from all accounts just like all Goldwings reliable as a Swiss watch
great sound system but it is a big bike to handle and no reverse gear ,a great touring bike ,but it is ugly like a jet ski and a nightmare to work on (if you ever have to) the other week we were having a bit of a sprint on the old Pacific Hwy from Berowra North a favourite for the sports bike and he was scraping on ever corner and wasn't even trying on the 1400 GTR and even my R3T was faster in Acceleration the GTR just walks away from it easy
but as a comfortable super reliable and reasonably priced big Touring bike it ticks all the boxes

Yup...working on it is a b*tch as lots of "tupperware" to remove. Luckily they don't break often. I am seriously considering one in addition to my Rocket Roadster as two bikes for two different purposes. And the Harley well, just continues rusting!
