A New Rocket 3 Touring

Well, one thing I have noticed, people you ride by look at you like you are escaped from the local nut-hut. Maybe because it is every time you twist the throttle you grin like an idiot, and it just won't go away!!!

Don't buy one. All the good things about the older R3Ts have been thrown out and there's a chance the wheels will fall off or the engine will blow up. Triumph is still learning how to put motorbikes together. If I was you I'd be giving them another 111 years so you can be sure they know what they're doing.

They eat tires, relentlessly and without mercy.

Also if you whack the throttle, it will try to rip your arms off their sockets.

Lastly if you drive an econobox, the mileage won't be much better on the Rocket.

That's why I got a victory

love mine so far 2013 but bought at 2nd quarter of last year would like to have the wider back tire but all in all I like it needs cruise but other than that did not get to ride as many miles as I usually do last year only 8300 compared to 16 to 20 k but I like it but I do a lot of long rides and it fits me better for that then the other moldes that being said I like the other moldes to and do not see the big difference in the other than the ride position

I thought about trading as well, but ABS is not that big of a deal and without cruise I see no reason to trade. I think these are easily 100k mile bikes or more and I am only at 25k.

What do you mean by wider back tire? Isn't it a 180?
