Thankfully I'm not there yet, and if I ever do get there I may just suck it up and stick to a car... not a huge trike fan. But of course if you're going to have a trike it may as well be built on a Rocket.

Yes, it's true, a 3rd party vendor has done the engineering and assembly of the unit.
My understanding is that it's receiving the blessing of Triumph and will be offered in this
configuration at licensed Triumph dealers. Which means it comes with 0 miles and sold as
a brand new unit with factory warranty. The dealership support is a big key here.
I understand the feeling that "if it can't be leaned over in a corner, I wouldn't ride it".
Sometimes as we age, our ability to hold up such a large beast may become impossible.
Leg or back injuries could sideline somebody who has ridden all their life. If I ever get to
that point, I would ride a trike before I threw in the towel for a F*%king car!

A Triumph rep told me something like this was in the works and that it was a Mototrike kit. I think a few of the guys on here have this kit. Maybe they could share their thoughts.

For me, if I can't just lean the bike in and sweep through some corners, I'll just sit in air-conditioned comfort and go from point A to B. but it's one of the least objectionable trikes I've seen?

If I had to go 3 wheeler, can-am spyder would be my choice.

Several Spyder riders attached to Captains on here, Nurse Ratchet being one. I've ridden her Spyder and while it has everything one could want in a touring bike it just not a comfortable ride for me.
