A milestone of sorts

Keep congratulating yourself Fred I do when I think how long ago I packed in the smoking ... never thought I could do it but it just goes to show what human will power can do eh!!!

Thanks for all the kind words. For the record, I'm not anti alcohol. If you can enjoy it and keep your wife, your job and your drivers license, I say good on ya. Probably the hardest part of this adventure was being dissed in the beginning by people I thought were my friends, but apparently were only drinking buddies. One of the few that stayed by my side was Paul, whom some of you met at the last two RAA's. A real stand up guy, that one. Joining this forum and meeting (be it in person or through a screen) and riding with all you people has been a very positive thing in my life. You guys actually ride, not just to the next bar. Thank you all for sharing your lives with me !

Found the same Fred .. certainly work out who your real mates are .. best thing I ever did bar none. Stopping and staying stopped is the 'Great Event' of my life .. I'm not anti-alcohol either , but I do find blithering annoying drunks really hard work ...

Dam!!!!
I hate to mist up like that - NOT!!!
Great comments!
