All,

I had a very interesting experience today involving the speakers I put up for sale below. It started as I received a money order from a bank in one of our southern states. I went to my bank this morning to cash it and was told after it was run through both of their scanners that it was a fraudulent document and they would not cash it.

Of course I thought "Crap". I come home and leave the potential buyer a message about the incident and send him an email. In the mean time I give the second in line for the speakers a call and let him know what has happened. He wanted them but was out of the country until yesterday. He asked which member it was and I shared the member's handle and this is key:

He says "That member participated in a group buy with us and there should not be any issue". After that I did some searching on the internet, matched routing numbers between what was posted at the bank's site and the money order and called the bank. I talked to a lady that knew all about it without me volunteering much info. At that point I knew that the buyer's bank and my bank should be talking. I went back to my bank and they called the buyer's bank and I now have the cash and the speakers are on the way to the buyer.

The ink on this particular money order was keeping the scanner from reading it properly. I think there is 2 lessons be learned here:

1. We have a great board with good members that can vouch for one another.

2. It is definitely worth the effort to dig into potentially bad information on item transactions.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!:D

I sell Nigerian Money orders

I will send you moneys orders from Nigeria, we also have some nice swamp, I mean beach front property for sale and a used bridge. I take paypal. LOL

Seriously, Glad the transaction worked out well. I buy allot on Amazon and Ebay(buy and sell) and have had very few problems. Never ever never do buisness with these folks in Nigeria OMG. Makes me feel good the site is self policing in a away, very good info thanks. My one group buy on here went very well.

Anyone have picture of speakers mounted on Standard or Classic, where do you put radio or is it portable mp3 player only??

You can check out my photo album if you want to see the Cycle Sounds speaker set up. Warning, if you have the clock and the fuel gage mounted on the handlebars the addition of two speakers will make it pretty crowded. The Cycle Sounds 50W system fits just right. They make a 100W system now but the speakers are 3 or 4 inches and I have a feeling they are just not going to fit in a set up like mine. When I get the R3T since the clock and the fuel gage is integrated into the tank top speedometer there should be plenty of room to put a decently sized (and more powerful) system on the handlebars along with a GPS right in the middle.

I put my Ipod on that waterproof box on the right side of the handlebars, the amp is attached to the right fork on the side. Some put their Ipod in their jacket pocket (Baggage1 does that but he uses ear buds). There are various mounts (ram and otherwise...that is how I attached the Aquabox I believe) that you can chose from.

Good luck.
