Same here. Wei and I will be on the Rocket, and our daughter will be on her black Honda 250 Nighthawk, and we're meeting two (father and daughter) riders on their 250 Ninjas in Centreville, and heading to Haymarket from there.
Sorry to have missed you Paul. I was still on the R1200RT and only saw one R3, it was two up and had a top trunk. It was rolling out just after lunch and I didn't get to see who it was.
The band was great and so was the crowd; I heard between 450-500 people.
The crosses below represent the fallen officers and K9s this last year; one is too many...
Yes, it was red. Okay next time on the coordination. I also did not see a couple of other R3s I expected to see, both are associated with Law Enforcement too.
I think Rolling Thunder and Gettysburg Bike week are my next two adventures.
I'm surprised anyone can still hear after participating in Rolling Thunder. Best I can do is join a group for breakfast, suck it up on I-66 to the Pentagon, and peel off as the others are filing into the North Parking to be corralled for four hours awaiting the start.
I'd be interested in knowing more about Gettysburg Bike Week.
And remember we have a RAA (aka Mid-Atlantic) round robin to plan and execute.
I surely hope you get some satisfaction with your situation, and soon -- it just shouldn't be so hard -- fuel and spark is all it should be.
