Have to agree, a lot of brain cells being wasted over nothing the wallyworld battery will last you four years easy without any problems and if you keep your battery more than four years then you are looking for trouble.

The wallyworld battery is 2 star rated...The Deka/Big Crank made by east penn has 4.7 stars with 1038 ratings.....I am trying not to waste money. Who makes the wally world battery?
Plus who cares if I am wasting my brain cells...Maybe you mean wasting your time?

Sorry...not my intention. I do not buy from the Peoples Republic Of China (Walmart) so even if they sold Dekas I would not shop there.

I just looked at mine. It is an off brand Made in USA called X2 Power. It has 310 CCA not 325 as I thought.

Thanks Phil! I am not trying to split hairs but just let folks know what is out there as the best bang for the buck AGM batt for our bikes manufactured in the USA by reliable manufacturer. I always try to buy US and keep the money local..That is why I got my Brake Pads from the Flipmeister!

Just got my order in on a Deka ETX-20L for 81 shipped-310 CCA; 21AmpHour; mil spec thermoplastic case. That also goes by the "Big Crank" name as well.

For the Yuasa folks... looks like the Motocross Brand made by Yuasa is the dealio for those who want to stay OEM at 80 shipped. Beats paying the stealership 105 plus tax(115 for me)

Ouch that hurt just talking from experience I have owned a Rocket before you knew they probably existed and have never had a problem with the wallyworld china battery but I do replace it every three years, sure is strange buying a walmart made in China battery to install in a British bike made in England but used in the USA

My three year battery cycle is nearly up please let us know how the new battery works out as i about paid that for the wallyworld special all fun here hope it works out for you.

Although true what you say - some of us feel having a motor is a luxury, so finding the best we can for our toy is part of the fun.

THERE are alot of posts on here about cold weather starting problems with all types of batteries even starter replacements and heavier cables etc SO Im happy they have these batteries with 720 cranking amps that will insure easy starting at all temps even with the modded high compression engines weve been using them for years on all makes of modified bikes of course they cost more but well worth spending a few hundred dollars more for peace of mind and power to spare Ive used the lithium batteries since 08 and never had a failure or had to replace one from age and the bikes always start SO the price is not an issue when your getting more than twice the power and it lasts twice as long for a few hundred dollars thats a bargain

YES and we can buy the best for only hundreds of $
