360 RIM & TIRE

Tesla claim around a 2.8 sec 0-60mph time in its full-power mode...my best on the stock roadster (according a mates data logger) was 3.5...

DONT RACE A TESLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was the most astonishing speed event I've ever witnessed, let alone been part of.

I was on my Rocket sitting along side the testa at the lights. It changed and although I did not expect a race, the Tesla driver was ready for action. In a split second I knew it was 'on' and I punched my throttle. "What was the point" I say to myself now? It was like standing behind and watching a Top Fuel Nitro Dragster without any noise. He was about 250m down the road before I realised that I hadn't even reached the other side of the traffic light. Obvious to me now is - Tesla's are lightening quick and super stealth - so watch out!!

I really didn't think any car could bet my bike.

I mean this with absolute sincerity that I honestly could not believe my eyes and if somebody had told me about it, I would not have believed them.

That's the thing with electric motors, maximum torque nearly instantly and continuously.

Look at those electric bikes running at Pikes Peak, no loss of performance as altitude increases.

I'm looking forward to the electric motorcycles (not the HD one there making) but the sports bikes, they'll be stunning. Once the battery and charging technology gets there I'll be grovelling for another bike to put in the garage.

This ones limited to 150mph and does 0-60mph in less than 3 seconds, the bikes fast too....

Harley's won't sell...unless Vance and Hines start making amplifiers...

WOW chandlierman,

I'd love a 300 on the back end of my bike too. But what about some guys comets that the the handling will be disrupted and reduced. Do you agree with that and are you prepared for a poorer performing bike through bendThat would bother me.

You post says "already in development" so I'm assuming you're not finished the project?
Why did you choose 300 and not say 360?
How'ed you step the drive shaft out to accommodate the extra width?
Is it angled and incorporated 'U' joints?
I'm not being critical, interested - chrome looks great, I love bling, do you intend chroming the shaft drive housing?
How much did the wheels set you back?

Apologies for the questions but I 'm most interested and I may do it myself.

that bike looks awesome! My impression is that it has taken on a bit of a v max look with the way you set up the rear guard, really changes the whole stance of the bike, good work:)
