I'm taking off next week for a 5,200 mile, 3 week trip from Dallas to Upstate NY, back down the Eastern Seaboard towards Charleston SC, to New Orleans and back home. I've taken the Harley's on this trip a few times. 3 years ago i set off on a similar trip on my 2008 Rocket, only to total it on the second day into the trip. Just bought the new Rocket last week and put 890 miles on her this weekend. You're right...the Harley's may not see much action for a bit.

I rode the Outer Banks and some east coast for the first time just last summer. It was a good ride, but the east coast has NOTHING on the west coast.

1. Sounds like a plan. I should be in New Orleans right around Halloween. I'll keep you posted on my location and arrival. Would be nice to meet up with other Rocket Riders. Not a whole lot of them in Dallas it seems like.
