I posted the whole ordeal somewhere on this forum but the fork seals and pads added significantly to the labor which my local shop charges $110.00 hr. But I do remember the 20k including valve inspection was quite reasonable at $550.00.
 
The OEM Allen bolt is a PITA ,I just carefully cut a slot right across mine with a hacksaw used a large straight screw driver to remove it and replaced it with a stainless steel Allen bolt and stainless washer

I have a ball end t handle hex that works great
