2021 New Rocket 3 GT Triple Black Features and Benefits available!!!

Nobody saying much about the price rise on the normal models??????

Two thousand bucks Australian, on both R and GT.

I must admit at first glance I didn't like it and posted (since deleted) that much. After going to ' Triumph's For the Ride' and reading up on it and checking it out a little further I changed my mind and think it looks rather cool. Not the different color schemes I was wanting Triumph to put out this year but pretty awesome none the less.

by way of comparison, to achieve the same look as the new ”triple black” edition, with work being done by a reputable and top-quality shop, would cost approx. $4,500 to $5,500 in Toronto; so the new look looks like a very reasonable price increase. Of course for those who are capable of a DIY approach, they could probably do it for less.

Prefer my GT wheels

Agreed. I would even have preferred those same wheels on the R, instead of all black ones. I will be adding a red pinstripe on mine.

Triumph is following the Harley/Polaris route with their limited editions - paint and bling. I prefer the European/Japanese approach - upgraded suspension and electronics, some extra performance and a model suffix to set it apart, e.g. GTS and RS. But then again, that is the market Triumph is shooting for - the one dominated by Harley in the US.

Just too many blacked-out bikes now across makes and models IMHO. Even the modders have stopped doing it - it is about to get old, methinks. It is also not easy to maintain matte finishes in pristine condition. Here is an interesting trend-bending approach - a white Dark Horse;
