Day 4: Ahead of schedule so I took a 350 mile Detour to ride the famous Pig Trail Scenic Byway in the Ozark mountains in Oklahoma.
WOW, very nice with some good twisties.
Now I know why it’s listed in the top 100 MC roads in America.
Continued on Rt16 West to Tulsa to the Hard Rock Casino for number 80.Woot!
Southbound on Indian Parkway till dark.
Day 5: KSU 9am and 150 miles to the town of Paris in the
Great State of Texas!!!! Woot!!
As luck would have it they were doing a Guinness world record attempt for the most number of Harley Davidsons to ride parade style.
I heard there were over 4,000 Harleys and that would be valued at over US$80 million dollars.
Non-HDs couldn’t be part of the event but I joined the parade after they passed the officials for a few miles.
Then I wandered southwest 100 Miles.
Dang, Noticed I lost the bolt on the bottom left shock that also held my license plate. Made it to an auto parts store to buy a new one.
350 total miles today.
Google says I’m 300 miles from Frio so I need to find some more side trips to occupy my time Monday and Tuesday.
