2016 Bonneville

The Thruxton does look pretty good - but agree with the author over some of the totally incomprehensible 'styling' choices like the fender supports, yellow springs and add the headlight brackets to that list.

My biggest objection however is in Triumph giving money to David Beckham to pose with them.
 
Wow if that translates to 64% more HP that is going to be a sweet ride, might kill the thunderbird though.
 
Showa instead of Ohlins front forks as well.. know a fair few Speed Triple owners that bought the R model S3 found the Ohlins just too harsh for anything but track work.
 
The bikes ARE very exciting. All the Bonne/Thruxton models get the 270 crank, ABS and traction control. V&H replaces Arrow. Speed Triple has more than meets the eye. I've sat on them all today. A new chapter for sure. Wait for all the details (sadly I'm under embargo but there's plenty being released already).
 
Exciting new stuff. Would like it better if they were shaft or belt drive. Chains are so old technology.

I saw this clip this morning on FB, I do like the 1200 powerplant and its grunt. Also the huge amount of accessories they say Triumph has for the Bonnie. Just wished they had that for us.
 
I think I'd like that Thruxton with a Carpenter package, they make one.
