Okok crank it all the way down and check.. got it.. answering me own questions. They should really have an arrow to show where you're at.. btw these plastic side covers aren't on her very strong. Just pull right off!
 
You should not have to take the panniers off to remove the seat.

To adjust the rear shocks:

Side panel fixes.

1. Secure the rubber grommets in the hole in the frame with silicone.

2. Drill a small hole in the post at the rear of the side cover. Use two or three looped zip ties to secure side panel to frame but leave enough slack you can set it on the folded down passenger footrest.

You DO NOT want to lose one of those side panels, even if you can find one it will run you 200+ dollars to replace.

Hey Bob lol at how the manual has the tool being vertical?! To adjust clock and counter you need to have the tool horizontal. That's what threw me off.. at any rate look at the effort to help out a fellow.member. thx
