2015 RAA 10 Details and headcount

Disappointed I shall not see you in AR.
BTW - myself and a few vet buddies (some riding up from Oregon) will be doing a 2 day ride round the Loop.

Very sorry to hear this Mike. Sincere condolences to you, your wife, and your family. I will miss you at RAAX, but hopefully you can still come over in May for the Ride to the Wall.

Ian, Boog, we have our tickets to Baltimore, arriving on May 19th and departing June 3rd. I'll call you about Rolling Thunder and a local event on the 23rd Ian. Boog, We'll also be in Virginia Beach for about a week.

Well I thought I was going to make it to the RAA X with the chance to meet a lot of Rocket owner on this forum but I had my bike at a shop near Ft Worth having a custom exhaust pipe built but weeks turned into months and very little got done so I picked up my bike with the stock exhaust removed. I decided to buy the new style Carpenter exhaust. Was told the exhaust was not in stock yet and to call back in a couple weeks. Today after 3 week I was told it would be another 3 weeks or so. Not blaming Carpenter as I plan on doing business with them in the future but I've had my fill of set backs. I do not want to put the stock pipes back on only to remove a month later. Anyway I have reservations at the Hub for 1 room on Thur. 30th - Sat. 1st. If any one is interested I'll give you the info so you can claim the room. Wishing everyone a safe trip.
 
I would put the stock pipe back on a ride bud the weather is getting to good not to. Oh and while you have it back on there you might as well come see us

What Scot said makes a hell of lot of sense to me and besides if you don't you will kick yourself later
 
Get the stock pipes back on. The bloke who has (or hasn't) been making your pipes should put them back on at no charge because he hasn't done what he contracted to do. If he took them off correctly, then they can be put back on quite easily. Mine are hanging on the wall in two sections - the headers and the rest.

You are loosing riding time and the use of your bike because of his incompetence. Illegitimi non carborundum!
 
As one who is making his 1st RAA, what sort of evening food/activities are 'normal'? Do we head for a restaurant, make a food run and burn something or order in? Is there an eating/drinking establishment at the Hub? Typical newbie questions but I do have an enquiring mind...helps me plan on how many wads of cash to bring.
