2015 RAA 10 Details and headcount

Mike, make sure you look me up when you come to DC. I will be here that weekend before heading to Denver to see my youngest graduate High School.

All...apologies for the long post, but as promised in previous posts there will be a guest rider at RAA X in Marble Falls. Several members of this forum have been asked to host different aspects of his time with us so we thought it might be useful to announce his impending trip in case there are others that may want to share a few miles while he is in the states. So, without further adieu, @HansO will be joining us in Marble Falls for RAA X. He will arrive in Houston, TX on April 19th where he will be met by @R3Tex , sorted out with a ride and depart as expeditiously as possible for the Texas hill country to spend some quality time with three twisted sisters. Upon leaving the sisters it will be on to Marble Falls to crash the Rat Raid and attend RAA. When RAA is over there is planning in the works to ride east to Maggie Valley in the company of @mexican , @rainman , @sweettennbabe , @ROCKETHEAD and others to tame a certain reptile and hit a few little known back roads compliments of @JoseyR3Wales . There are no solids plans in place after the dragon as yet but there has been discussion of a pass through bayou country to hit New Orleans' Bourbon Street and other local color like maybe Cafe des Amis in Breaux Bridge for a Saturday breakfast with local guides @Steel and @nolton , and then a return to Houston for departure back home. The above does not represent a firm agenda as HansO will ultimately decide his own route, but should give everyone at least a reasonable idea of when and where he will be should you desire to join in for part or all of his excursion.

To all of those who have provided either material support, planning, hosting or other help...our sincere thanks. Your kindness and generosity are unparalleled. We would ask however that you respect our desire that you keep the details of your participation, or exact means of support to yourself.

If you find our guest in your neck of the woods please share local knowledge and your favorite rides so that his time with us is memorable.

On Hanso, I very much look forward to meeting him and what a fine thing some of the members did in bringing him over.

I was having fits with the tune on my Rocket and couldn't get it right. I emailed it to Hanso in a file, he worked his magic and sent it back. I downloaded the modified tune and it was perfect. No decel back popping and my Rocket accelerated like a scalded ape. It was a perfect balance between performance and touring fuel economy. He's the man.
