A thumb drive is an even better idea ... no scratches or heat warping. I'm gonna do that.
I went to check the disc's in the bike ... Granted they have been in the filter location for over a year, but one was unreadable. There was no physical disc damage, they were both stored well, but one just wouldn't read. I don't know if it was from being under the seat in the filter, or if it was just a bad disc anyway (they aren't the same brand). My thoughts are that the CD-RW disc that wouldn't read was just a poor quality disc, The CD-R works fine. So I put the information on a thumb drive to put back along with the working disc.
I wonder if either of them are usable after another year or so being stored on the bike.
