For Sale 2008 Touring Silencers

2008 Touring Silencers:

These were removed and replaced with D & D pipes by the original owner. As best I can recall they were too quiet for some owners.

I was about to donate them to the local landfill but now wondering if someone wants them. There is a small dimple on the top inboard area of the right side muffler. I doubt it is noticeable when mounted on the bike and hidden by the saddlebag. Otherwise they look like new. There is a clamp on the inlet end of the left side pipe but no clamp on the right side pipe.

They weigh a ton and I suspect shipping will cost a small fortune. If there is any interest in them I will weigh them and try to get a shipping estimate but hoping someone locally can pick them up and spare me the packing hassle. I’d appreciate opinions about their value, if any.

I live in Escondido, CA(San Diego County).

PS I just weighed them and it comes to 25 lbs. I thought they'd be about double that.

Off road? Why are they on a road bike? What makes them off road?

Tors. Triumph offload racing
Says that on the stickers to only be used on a closed coarse (race track)
Might get a ticket if used on the road. The pipes have a larger holes and you have some backfires pops/bangs out the exhaust.
If you don't want the noise then pull in the clutch when stopping.

By installing a sticker that says "off road use only" Triumph puts the monkey on the customer's back with all the legalities and noise regulations, i had mine installed when i bought my first bike, they are just a little louder than stock, no where near as noisy as a Harley, the Jardines on the other hand,,,,,,,,,,,

Yours is a touring, not familiar with that set up, maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in?

Yes they will fit ALL R3Tourings with or without ABS

i like mine to
