I bought my '08 Rocket in '09 from the dealer. You know they want to get rid of them for the new ones. I didn't ask for what they were making off the deal since I thought I got a good deal out the door. I also got a few freebies with the deal. Plus you get the warranty.

Hi all,

Sorry about the late post. I was out of town taking care of my grand daughter.Thank you all again for the great information. You all have been a great help and probably saved me serious money along the way. For the last 22 years I have been riding a 1939 and 1948 Indian Chief. The man I bought the 1939 from wants to buy if back because It was his first Chief. And by the way he has been my best friend for 22 years. Wright now he is off hunting for another week so I won't get a chance to make a R3T purchase for another couple of weeks. But I am looking forward to that day. I have grown tired of riding the old stuff. My friend has a saying, It's not as much fun if you know your going to get there. I can't wait to find that out Thank you all again for your inputs and time.

Snowbandit, not sure yet if that is correct...I'm waiting on my dealer to get back to me. Historically, the new R3's and R3T models are released late December or early January. One train of thought is that the 2010's were "loaded up" with accessories to move them off the showroom floors in preparation for a somewhat revamped 2011 R3T model. I guess if you have a title and it is listed as a 2011 model....then I will stand corrected.

Again, because of what you had said in an earlier post about having a 2011 is the reason why I am asking my dealer if the 2011 model was released earlier. They have a fully loaded 2010 black R3T on the floor (I am assuming like yours) for, I think, around $17,800...I'll see if I can find the pic.

It is titled and registered as a 2011 R3T.... So I would hope its an 2011. Not sure why some are saying they are not out as I talked to triumph about the 2011 right after I got it and they didn't even say anything was strange about having an 11.

Check your VIN, if the 10th digit is an "A" it is a 2010, if it is a "B" it is a 2011, then you'll know for sure. My dealer says they are not out yet...but you never know they could be wrong...but I doubt it.
