The low compression ratio on these engines is perfect for some sort of forced induction, at least that was my first thought when I saw that it was around 8.5 to 1.
Has there ever been any explanation as to why Triumph decided on such a low ratio? It seems to me that they left a lot of power on the table by not going to 10 or 11 to 1.
The dealership that has this bike for sale is a 30 minute ride from my house. Seems they almost always have a Rocket for sale. I think they have had this one for a while.
