Welcome Peabody. My 2004 Kaw ZRX1200r has been growing cob webs, since I got my 2013 Rocket! Just sayin.....

The Triumph Rocket 111's are heavily restricted in the air inlet department, a set of free flowing mufflers, pod filters (or Ram Air) and a re tune can easily give you another 30 RWHP and a considerable amount of extra grunt.

Enjoy
Thanks for the response. The bike does have cat less exhaust on it. I will check my vin for updates on second gear also. Is there a link for suggested mods and learning?

Give it to me!!! i want one of those!
You should try a ZX14 sometime. Sorry guys, but it will smoke my Rocket. I don't know what a stock Rocket does in the quarter mile, I would guess 13's? The ZX I understand can break into the 9's. That is why I kept both bikes, two different rides.

Even the "detuned" 1400 GTR is in the high 10s stock

I am a fan of the Kawasaki ZX series and if I got one I would make an Eddie Lawson replica out of it,may as well give that old ZXR1200R

Mine ran consistent 9's when I could get traction.
