In answer to your question, I believe that your asking price is in the range of reasonableness. There are plenty of comps that you can and probably have used as your pricing guideline. There are many factors that go into fair pricing, timing and the earnestness of both buyers and the seller are but two of the more subjective variables.
In late 2009 I found my Mulberry Mistress for sale up in Wisconsin. She had about $5000 (at retail) in mostly non-performance related accessories/upgrades on her, about 2,700 original miles and she had had the update kit installed. The bike was in showroom condition overall and I payed $10K for her. I think that was a very good deal at the time... excellent value received for me and a fair return to the seller.
