In answer to your question, I believe that your asking price is in the range of reasonableness. There are plenty of comps that you can and probably have used as your pricing guideline. Also, there are many factors that go into setting a fair price, timing and the earnestness of both buyers and the seller are but two of the more subjective variables.

In late 2009 I found my Mulberry Mistress for sale up in Wisconsin. She had about $5000 (at retail) in mostly non-performance related accessories/upgrades on her, about 2,700 original miles and she had had the update kit installed. The bike was in showroom condition overall and I payed $10K for her. I think that was a very good deal at the time... excellent value received for me and a fair return to the seller.

Thanks Phil, I was told it would be in this week. I do get a little irritated when my honesty appears to be questioned. "IF it only has 5400 miles, IF there are no issues, etc." And as the prior fellow said, ABS is a big plus in my estimation, plus improved suspension, clutch, non restricted gears, etc. Didn't think anyone here would question why someone would want a brand new Rocket Roadster.

ABS alone would be a good enough reason to want a new one. That plus the silver engine just doesn't do it for me. Fortunately for me mine's an '09 otherwise I reckon I'd be looking at a new one too - if I thought I could live with (or change) the horrible riding position on the Roadster.

Thanks Canberra, There have been quite a few improvements from '05 to '14. I thought everyone would get that. lol

I don't think that anyone here was questioning your honesty, but for me it's just bad form to interfere with an honest attempt to sell your motorcycle.

Good luck just got mine this week... Love the new riding position, updated clutch workings, updated gauges, suspension changes and all black motor and all black wheels with shiny lip... Oh and ABS which works well in the snow and black ice on the way home...

About time., The are throwing in a set of leather saddlebags for the long wait, so not all is bad. The 2005? Someone make a reasonable offer and they have a great bike. Getting close to riding time for a lotta folk.

Yes, it is still available. I am the 2nd owner and have had it about one year. I am not aware of any transmission update. Was there a recall or something? I believe I can get ahold of the original owner and ask him. It shifts just fine and runs great. Still only
5600 miles on odo now.

She's on ebay now. Just listed with $6900 starting price. Someone" should" be getting a real nice bike.
