Hello, just ordered a 2014 Rocket Roadster, so the old one has to go. Only 5400 miles and very clean. Loaded with extras. Windshield, sissy bar/luggage rack, engine guard, grips, TOR pipes (sounds great, supposed to add a few hp's), battery tender, extra LOUD horn. Runs like new, no issues. Asking on Craigs list $8500, will take $8000.

Just put it on CycleTrader for $7900. I think this is a great price, especially with all the extras and low miles. Am I wrong?

If it was 54,000 miles I wouldn't have said "only". I bought it last spring with 3200 miles on it.

Why not scavenge some of the parts - like the windshield for the Roadster - just in case you want it.

Hey Sooner if there is no problem with the bike and it has only 5400 miles on it I just got to ask why get rid of it? It would seem you don't ride it much and well it is a 05 one of the original rockets. Why sell it and spend 7000 more for something with less accessories on it. I think your making a mistake myself. Unless of course you got money to piss away.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the bike. I think buying a brand new bike is reason enough, don't you? And what makes you think the new one is going to have less accessories? Geesh.

ABS alone would be a good enough reason to want a new one. That plus the silver engine just doesn't do it for me. Fortunately for me mine's an '09 otherwise I reckon I'd be looking at a new one too - if I thought I could live with (or change) the horrible riding position on the Roadster.
