I'm about 210 215 suzuki oem gauge. I think youre on to something checking timing. post some pictures of where marks at, like flat on good pictures @Sparky59 noticed i was off on the motor i put together for leakey, anyway we got it sorted with pictures and advice.

from a coil u have two wires on that fires close to tdc
question does the other wire fire at bottom ?
it may be possible to have the other wire in the wrong place

Kevin, PLEASE don't compare apples to an orange.....Bill has drop in cams......you have adjustable cams....thereby cylinders are loading differenty.....His setup is for approx. 200hp and yours is cammed for approx' 250ish.....if you go back in your bikes evolution....to when you had drop in cams, what was your cranking compression then?.....195/200psi?.....I would bet around there.

Hi, Bills comp reading is relatively even, maybe a little less than we'd like, but I suspect that is the gauge. If can timing was off on the inlet, it would have to be by a tooth either way, which would mean he'd have 175 or 245 roughly. Inlet Cam is in right. One cylinder is running ok. It will be something outside. An engine only needs three things to run really. Compression, which we have, and fuel , at the right time, also spark, at the right time. Are the injector plugs mixed up? Are the number two and three coils mixed up? What has been done to the injectors while the bike been stopped for a year? Is one stuck? Use simple methodical method of isolating the issue. You have two cylinders only to check two things on. Is it fuel or ignition, ?????

I was referring to drop in cams. thats what i sent you a picture of back in leakey, my cranking pressure on the 200hp deal was 205 210

Purchased the Triumph tool Fuel Pressure Gauge for $51 with free shipping. It was in a sealed parts bag that was dated March of 2005. Never opened. Anyway the pressure test showed 3 bars as it should. Removed cam cover to confirm cam timing. The crank has the blue marked dot dead on the pointer. Take a look at the pictures and tell me what you think.

How did you align timing marks, did you use the timing tool? I used it several times after adjusting chain and turning crank through several complete rotations, just to verify it hadn't slipped or changed.

Yes used timing tool and have rotated many many many revolutions. and engine has run for several minutes.

I think your issue has nought to do with cam timing, the marks seem to line up and your CCP is fine, which would be off if the cams were a tooth out. Check same as my post above . Cheers and good luck.

Would you have a photo or video showing us all the vacuum nipples and tubing etc now?

Still think a good closeup video of the vac tubes, and everything in the general area like HT leads and wiring to Nev's point, will be very worthwhile. Without visuals, remote problem solving is very difficult

The MAP values are too high imo so this is a major clue
