20,000 mile service

I believe that I posted the correct info for Kim's 2007 model, guys - the same year as my two-wheeled Mistress.

Please LMK if Triumph retroactively changed the recommended interval(s) for earlier (pre-Roadster?) models!
Have no clue on older models. I did the valve check at 10,000 and found everything within specs. At 25,000 had a leak in the valve cover and was doing upgrades at the time so we did a valve clearance check and found several valves out of tolerance. :):):):):)

I believed they bumped the valve check to 20,000. Either way he said he got it done at 10k.

Judging by your avatar, Norm, I reckon that you are still in hibernation mode. Kim stated that he performed his valve check at 15,217.

To my knowledge, the recommended interval(s) for the valve clearance check(s) was not changed for earlier models. What I don't remember is if the interval change was implemented on post-ABS models (2009+) or post-Roadster (2010+) models.

I'll go back to my corner.

Don't you mean back to the cave or den, Norm? That is where bears do their hibernatin', ya' know!;):p

First valve check is due at 10K, the next at 30k and the next after that at 60K, Bobby. Since he knows that the valves were done at 15K, that's off the tare list for about 10,000 more miles.

Phil Triumph admitted it was a mistake on their part to check valve clearance at 10 K and moved it up in the newer models owners handbook to 20K...
