R3 Rocket 2.5 quick shifter install info required. Anyone self install and/or dealer. How easy, and how much if dealer installed? Thx in advance.

Go to Triumph Instructions and search for the kit number, A9778507 to get an idea if you're up for doing it yourself... Note that no matter what, it needs to be enabled and adjusted in the Triumph Dealer Tool, so it will have to go to the dealer at some point.

I am assuming the kit is the same for the original R3 and the Storm...

Do you need this part to? A9770302?

Hi, thanks for the offer. I have the kit already, but it was nice if you to offer.

Don't forget the update.... interest in your comments on this option..
Have the quick shifter on my Tigger and only use it off road.
Not sure how often I would use it on the rocket.. don't do to many drag starts etc or super tight roads ?

Who uses their quick shifter often ?

I don't have a quick shifter and since I ride two other bikes without as well I don't know if I'd use it much. My dealer quoted $800 for parts and labor.

I had a quick shifter on my KTM 1290 Super Duke GT and used it all the time. In fact, when I first bought the R3, I often started to shift without the clutch, correcting just in time.
