1'st gear stutter?

I have 390mi on my new bike now and there seems to be a minor stutter in first gear somewhere between 2.5-3k rpm and only in that gear. I noticed it when riding home from work earlier this week and it's been raining and will continue so I won't be riding again until later next week to investigate more. The stutter just comes on for a second while accelerating in first gear and then disappears and I don't remember it doing that in second. Maybe it's just break in rumbles and from what I've read here I wouldn't be surprised if it's gone by the next time I ride. We shall see.

Mine does the same still with 1500 miles on the clock. I believe it's related to how smooth you let off the clutch and the torque our motors put out. I'm not concerned as I can really smooth it out with a gentle start.

Yeah, that's so sad. I already have everything I need to flash Penner's tune onto my ECU, but am holding off for now until it's broken in and I'm more used to it. Then it'll be like having a brand new bike all over again.
