If you do, let me know and I will ride over to look at it, or you can meet me somewhere, I am not far from you, about 60 miles.

Thanks, but I am thinking I am going to keep it. It is a real beauty. Looks like new. The cruise control is too cool. It has several windscreens for it. Plus, it will give me transportation while my super charged rocket is in the hospital (which seems to be the norm).
Stripes why is your SC bike in the Hospital?
Oh ya nice looking ride if your into that style!!!

Thanks Warp. Would you believe we are still looking for that weird electrical gremlin!?! It runs just fine but we should be getting about 30 more hp according to the dyno guru. He thinks the electrical problem is associated with the loss of hp.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by electrical gremlin? What is she doing?

If you will remember at RAAIX. You and Rocket Scientist tried to work on it some too. My gauges won't sweep at first switch of the ignition. I can get the to sweep by lightly tapping the starter button. Sometimes the speedo won't work. The odometer display is real dim. Sometimes the tach doesn't work.

Hi ya Ken ! I was doing some reading recently. The tach/speedo/odo/ are tied to the ECU through a "can bus". CAN stands for controller area network. There is a small processor in the tach/speedo that communicates with the ECU. Not sure if it resides in the tach or the speedo. Anyway, I suspect yours is iffy. My guess is if you were to plug on a different tach/speedo set it would probably work fine. I don't think it's costing you power as it is just "monitoring" the info the ECU sends it. It doesn't control anything, or send any info back to the ECU. Dats what I tink :)
