09 ignition switch wiring loom, caused breakdown.

The connector block is under the tank. After you lift the tank you can trace the ignition line back to the connector. My connector is gray with 6 or 8 wires running through it.

Ok, focus is back on the ignition switch. Went out this morning and turned the key on and nothing, reached under the switch and moved the wires and she comes to life. Called my dealer and he agreed, so he's sending me the lock set to replace and said if I continue to have problems he will replace the wiring harness. I just didn't think the ignition switch could act up this long(2months).

did i read this right 60 mph 3rd gear full throttle trying to pass your a bloody hoon. i wonder was their a mark on the road when she kicked or just your jocks lol
hope you get it sorted cheers for the laugh

On older bikes connector is big wide block just behind headstock, can be reached by removing right hand plastic cover.
New ignition has more compact connector, other half of new connector (bike/battery side) requires cutting off old wide connector & using bullit pushfits to each wire.
If you do not want to have different keys, you can drill out screws halfway down unit & just refit new lower half, which is switch, wiring & connector, reusing original key & steering lock.
